Mass. lawmakers get a deal on salary transparency bill. Here’s what’s in it

MASSLIVE - Furthering clearing the decks before a July 31 deadline, Massachusetts lawmakers have reached a compromise on legislation that would require most employers to be upfront about the wages they pay their employers.

The compromise bill that emerged from a joint House and Senate conference committee on Friday would require any employers with 25 or more workers to post pay ranges with their job openings.
